Deprecations

Nothing in API v1 is deprecated.

Policy

• No breaking change is made inside v1. A breaking change gets a new version (/v2).
• Once customers depend on a version, a deprecated part keeps working for at least 12 months, with a migration guide, an entry in the changelog and a notice to the account owners who use it.
• A deprecated operation answers with a Deprecation header, and a Sunset header once a removal date is fixed.
• A security emergency can shorten these periods.
